In our latest tutorial, “Creating Evenly Spaced Cutouts in myPIPE,” we demonstrate how the Array feature can be used to quickly create multiple evenly spaced cutouts along a tube.
Instead of creating and positioning every cutout individually, users can create the first cutout, enable the Array feature, and then control the number of repeated cutouts and the spacing between them.

For tube fabrication projects that require multiple identical features, manually creating every cutout can add unnecessary setup work.
The Array feature provides a faster way to create a consistent pattern from a single cutout. The quantity and spacing can be adjusted directly in myPIPE, allowing the design to be changed without manually repositioning every individual cutout.
This can be useful for fabricated tube components requiring repeated openings or consistently spaced features.
